01-Dec-2011 Honda Motor Co., Ltd is exhibiting the world premiere of the EV-STER, the next-generation electric small sports concept model at the 42nd Tokyo Motor Show 2011. The EV-STER is an electric rear-wheel-drive two-seater convertible sports car, combining a sports type model with electromotive mobility. Also introduced were Honda's unique concept models of motorcycle and automobile electric mobility: The MICRO COMMUTER CONCEPT, a four-wheel EV commuter, and the MOTOR COMPO, a two-wheel EV commuter, were created for mobility in a metropolitan area.

Honda has announced plans to introduce a variety of concepts at the Tokyo Motor Show. First up, the AC-X is a "next-generation plug-in hybrid" with streamlined styling and two drive modes. The Micro Commuter Concept, on the other hand, is a pint-sized electric vehicle that can only accommodate a driver. It features unique styling and aviation-inspired controls. Next up, the small sports EV concept is a two-seat roadster with an aggressive design. Additional information is limited, but Honda says the SSEVC "maximizes the fun of driving while achieving excellent environmental performance." Besides the aforementioned vehicles, Honda will introduce a number of motorcycle and personal mobility concepts. There's clearly another target this time: lightweight, V6-powered but with electric wheel motors, it would seem to suggest, alongside this little fella, that Honda has decided the future of sports cars is guilt-free.
